MOUNTAIN BIKING: Camp Meribah Mtb Trails

← AL BEAR CREEK BISHOPAL Single Tracks →

Description

Camp Meribah is a church camp owned by the Centerville Church of Christ.
There is a perimeter trail that is close to 6 miles that goes around the entire
camp. There is a little bit of everything here and something for every skill level.
There are several steep downhills, rock gardens, drops, etc.. There is always a
beginner's route though to get around these obstacles. It is a challenging
course with several climbs as well, only one real difficult climb. It is a mix of
single track, and a few logging roads. It does present some of the best views
around though, overlooking the Duck River. It also goes through the middle of
the Rock Quarry on the camp property. The trails are open to the public and
there is no cost to ride. Plans are to have a few annual races here as well to
help raise money for Camp Scholarships. There is also lodging available at the
camp. There is a lodge that is similar to a chalet in Gatlinburg that sleeps over
60 people that you can rent for a very reasonable price. For more details on
this, see www.centervillechurchofchrist.org.
